Agartala: April 01: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will stage an overnight dharna in Bengaluru tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM at Freedom Park, in protest against the Congress government’s price hike policy. The protest aims to highlight the growing discontent over the government’s rising prices and the burden it is placing on the common people.

The event will be attended by key BJP leaders, including BJP State President and MLA Shri B.Y. Vijayendra, Former Chief Minister and Central Parliamentary Board Member Shri B.S. Yediyurappa, Former Chief Minister Shri D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Leader of Opposition Shri R. Ashok, and Leader of Opposition in the Vidhana Parishad Shri Chalavadi Narayanaswamy. Several other prominent figures, such as former ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and defeated candidates, will also participate in the protest. Additionally, all district presidents of the party, along with members of various Morchas, Prakoshthas, office-bearers, and dedicated karyakartas (party workers), will join the dharna to show their solidarity.

The BJP is mobilizing its supporters and leadership to express their concerns over the price hikes and their negative impact on the people of Karnataka. The protest will also serve as an opportunity for the party to unite its members and demonstrate their opposition to the current government’s policies.

Journalists, photographers, and television media reporters are invited to cover this significant event. The party has requested media participation to ensure widespread coverage and bring attention to the issues raised during the protest. The dharna will be a crucial moment for BJP to voice its dissent against the Congress government’s economic policies and its perceived failure to manage inflation.
