In a swift and well-coordinated operation, Tripura Police successfully rescued a minor girl who was allegedly kidnapped from her residence in Indranagar, under the jurisdiction of NCC Police Station. The incident reportedly occurred during the intervening night of October 10–11, when police received information about the abduction.

Acting promptly, a detailed investigation and search operation were launched by the NCC Police team. According to an official press communique issued by Tripura Police, “The breakthrough came during the intervening night of October 11–12, 2025, when the missing minor was traced and safely recovered from the Maharani area under RK Pur Police Station in the Udaipur Subdivision of Gomati District.”

The rescue operation, which involved close coordination among multiple police units, resulted in the identification of four individuals allegedly involved in the abduction. Among them, one is an adult while the remaining three have been identified as juveniles, classified as Children in Conflict with Law (CCL).

“The adult accused has been arrested and is being produced before the competent court, while the three juveniles have been apprehended and will be presented before the Juvenile Justice Board for further legal proceedings,” the statement added.

Following her recovery, the rescued minor girl is being reunited with her parents after completion of all required medical and legal formalities.

Police officials have commended the quick and efficient response of the investigating teams, which ensured the safe return of the child within 24 hours of the abduction report. Authorities have reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the safety and security of citizens, especially vulnerable groups such as women and children, and assured strict action against those involved in such criminal acts.
