Agartala: April 25: The CPI(M) Dukli Sub-Divisional Committee submitted a deputation to the Dukli Block office as part of a statewide initiative. The delegation presented demands for adequate work and timely wages under the MGNREGA and TUEP schemes, immediate payment of pending wages, and the regular supply of essential food grains through ration shops.
Leaders emphasized the need for ensuring 100 days of work under MGNREGA, timely wage payments, and resolving delays in disbursements that reportedly extend up to two or three months in the Dukli Block area. They also highlighted the importance of providing essential commodities to ration shops in a timely manner.
