Major General Inderjit Singh Bhinder, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East), paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Tripura, Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, at Raj Bhavan (Lok Bhavan) in Agartala this evening. The meeting was marked by warm exchanges and constructive discussions on matters concerning security, development, and continued cooperation between the civil administration and the Assam Rifles in the region.
During the interaction, Major General Bhinder briefed the Governor on the prevailing security situation in Tripura and other areas under the jurisdiction of Assam Rifles (East). He highlighted the force’s ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability, strengthen border security, and support local authorities in ensuring a safe environment for citizens.
