New Delhi, July 19: Hon’ble Member of Parliament and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb paid a visit to AIIMS, New Delhi, to check on the health condition of veteran journalist, publisher, and Editor of Dainik Sambad, Shri Pradip Dutta Bhowmik, who is currently undergoing treatment on ventilator support.

During his visit, MP Deb met with the family members of Shri Bhowmik and enquired in detail about his current medical condition. Expressing deep concern, he extended his heartfelt wishes for a speedy and full recovery.

“Shri Pradip Dutta Bhowmik is one of the most respected voices in Tripura’s journalistic community. His contribution to media and public discourse in the state is immense and irreplaceable. I pray for his health and strength to his family during this difficult time,” said Biplab Kumar Deb.

Shri Bhowmik, known for his fearless journalism and decades-long association with Dainik Sambad, has played a pivotal role in shaping public opinion and maintaining journalistic integrity in Tripura. His illness has sparked concern and prayers from colleagues, well-wishers, and readers across the region.

The veteran journalist’s critical health condition and ongoing treatment at AIIMS have drawn widespread attention, with political leaders, media professionals, and members of the civil society extending support and solidarity to his family.

MP Deb assured that all possible help will be extended to ensure the best medical care is provided. His visit reflects the shared respect and concern for Shri Bhowmik’s legacy and health.
