Agartala: Oct 10: With the aim of bringing essential primary healthcare services closer to rural households, an Ayushman Arogya Camp was organised at Natunabadi West Dwarikapur. A total of 49 local residents availed themselves of free health check-ups and medical consultations during the event.
The camp provided an opportunity for villagers to undergo routine health examinations and seek expert medical advice locally, eliminating the need to travel long distances for primary care.
A medical team comprising Medical Officer Dr. Supriya Barman, Pharmacist Dr. Sunil Sarkar, MPS Bipul Debbarma, Laboratory Technician Ashri Debbarma, Community Health Officer Hamesha Debbarma, and MPW Amit Majumdar conducted the health check-ups, supported by other local healthcare workers.
Ayushman Arogya Camps are regularly organised across rural and underserved regions to ensure early identification and screening of medical conditions. Beyond immediate treatment, these initiatives aim to promote preventative health awareness and medical counselling at the grassroots level.
