AGARTALA, March 3: Indra Sena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday felicitated 13 cadets of the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC who represented the state at the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) and Thal Sena Camp (TSC) for the year 2025–26. The felicitation ceremony was held at Lok Bhavan in Agartala in the evening.
The Governor congratulated the cadets for their dedication, discipline and exemplary performance at the national-level camps, which are considered among the most significant events in the National Cadet Corps calendar. He lauded their achievement, stating that their participation had brought pride to the state and served as an inspiration for other young aspirants.
The Republic Day Camp, held annually in New Delhi, showcases the best NCC cadets from across the country and includes ceremonial parades, cultural programmes and competitions. The Thal Sena Camp, meanwhile, focuses on training and competitions related to military skills, leadership and teamwork. Participation in these camps is regarded as a mark of distinction for NCC cadets.
During the interaction, the Governor encouraged the cadets to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the values of discipline, unity and national service imbibed through their NCC training. He also urged them to contribute positively to society and to act as responsible citizens.
Senior NCC officials and state government representatives were present at the programme. The cadets expressed gratitude to the Governor and their instructors for the recognition and support extended to them.
