Agartala, June 23: Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB), under the leadership of Chairman Satyendra Singh, expanded its footprint by inaugurating two new state-of-the-art branches at Office Tilla and Chebri in Khowai district on Monday.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Khowai District Magistrate and Collector Rajat Pant, IAS, who served as the chief guest. He was joined by SDM Khowai Charu Verma, IAS, Vice Chairman of Khowai Panchayat Samiti Uttam Adhikari, TGB Chairman Satyendra Singh, and TGB Regional Manager (West) Sujit Roy.
With the largest branch network in Tripura and a business volume exceeding ₹14,000 crore, Tripura Gramin Bank continues its push toward ultra-modernization. The bank is now offering services on par with leading nationalized commercial banks and private institutions, enhancing its customer experience with modern banking facilities.
TGB’s digital banking features now include WhatsApp Banking, SMS Banking, Missed Call Banking, Mobile Banking via a dedicated app, Internet Banking, NEFT/RTGS/Core Banking, Debit Card services, and UPI/PFMS facilities.
Speaking at the event, Chairman Satyendra Singh emphasized the bank’s commitment to inclusive growth. “We believe rural citizens should experience the same high-quality banking services as those in urban areas. Our goal is to ensure that every TGB branch, even in the remotest corners, reflects quality infrastructure and customer satisfaction,” he said.
