Agartala, April 8 — The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has commenced the evaluation of answer scripts for the Madhyamik (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations from April 6, marking a crucial phase in the academic calendar.
For the Higher Secondary examinations, evaluation is being conducted at Bardowali Higher Secondary School and Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan. Meanwhile, for Madhyamik, multiple centres have been designated, including Bani Vidyapith, Bijoy Kumar Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Bodhjung Girls’ Higher Secondary School, and Kamini Kumar Higher Secondary School.
On Wednesday, TBSE President Dhananjay Gan Choudhury visited Bardowali Higher Secondary School to review the progress of the ongoing evaluation process. During his visit, he assessed the arrangements and interacted with officials to ensure that the work is progressing smoothly and efficiently.
He informed that the board is making all possible efforts to complete the evaluation at the earliest and publish the results without delay. However, he added that if early declaration is not feasible, the results are expected to be announced by May 7.
To ensure timely completion, around 2,200 teachers have been engaged in the evaluation process across various centres. Their coordinated efforts are aimed at maintaining accuracy and speed while handling the large volume of answer scripts.
The evaluation phase is a critical step in the examination cycle, as it determines the academic outcomes of thousands of students across the state. With the process now underway, anticipation is steadily building among students and parents, who are eagerly awaiting the results.
