Runiel Debbarma, the Tipra Motha party candidate from the 14 Bodhjungnagar–Wakinagar constituency, cast her vote at Kumari Bil JB School amid a peaceful and orderly polling process. Speaking to the media after exercising her franchise, she expressed strong confidence in her party’s prospects, stating that victory is “100 percent certain” in the constituency.
Polling in the area witnessed enthusiastic participation from voters since the early hours of the day. Men and women queued up in large numbers to cast their votes, reflecting a vibrant democratic spirit. Security arrangements were also tight, ensuring that the voting process was conducted smoothly without any untoward incidents.
Debbarma highlighted that her confidence stems from the overwhelming support she has received from the people during her campaign. Over the past few months, she has actively engaged with residents, addressing their concerns and promising development initiatives tailored to local needs. According to her, the electorate is eager for change and sees Tipra Motha as the vehicle for that transformation.
She also thanked the voters for coming out in large numbers and participating in the democratic process. Emphasizing the importance of peaceful elections, she said that such active public involvement strengthens democracy.
With polling concluded peacefully in the Bodhjungnagar–Wakinagar constituency, all eyes are now on the results.
