The second phase of the district-level review meeting for North Tripura was held on Monday at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s office in Dharmanagar, with a focus on evaluating the progress of ongoing development projects and ensuring their timely completion. The meeting brought together senior political leaders and top administrative officials to review implementation status across departments.

The review meeting was attended by Minister for Animal Resources Development and Fisheries Sudhangshu Das, MLA Jadav Lal Nath, North Tripura District Magistrate Chandni Chandran, the Zilla Sabhadhipati, the Saha Sabhadhipati, and senior officials from various government departments. Their presence reflected the government’s emphasis on coordinated efforts between the political leadership and administrative machinery.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Sudhangshu Das said the meeting marked the second round of the district-level review process. He explained that projects and developmental works approved during the first phase were now being closely examined to assess the extent of their implementation. Detailed discussions were held department-wise to evaluate progress, identify delays, and understand the reasons behind obstacles in execution.

The minister stressed that the primary objective of the review meeting was to identify issues hindering the smooth implementation of development projects and to work out effective and practical solutions. He said timely decision-making and inter-departmental coordination were essential to avoid delays and ensure that public welfare schemes reach beneficiaries without disruption.

Das further stated that the review exercise was aimed at ensuring the completion of all scheduled works within the 2024–25 financial year. He emphasized that strict monitoring and accountability would be maintained to keep development initiatives on track.

Expressing optimism, the minister said the state government remains fully committed to the overall welfare of the people. He added that regular review meetings like this are being conducted across districts to monitor progress and maintain the momentum of development. According to him, such assessments will play a crucial role in accelerating the implementation of development initiatives and improving service delivery across North Tripura.
