Agartala, February 1: In a special outreach program organized by BJP 29 Krishnapur Mandal on Sunday, Minister for Tribal Welfare and local MLA Bikash Debbarma highlighted the Union Budget 2026’s emphasis on inclusive development, with a particular focus on the upliftment of tribal communities.

Addressing party workers and supporters at the Mandal office, Debbarma explained that the Budget prioritizes tribal welfare across multiple sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social security. He described the financial plan not just as a roadmap for economic growth, but as a comprehensive framework aimed at the socio-economic transformation of marginalized and tribal populations.

“This Budget will play a decisive role in realizing the vision of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. It aims to improve the quality of life for ordinary citizens while ensuring tribal communities are not left behind,” Debbarma said.

The Minister further highlighted that increased allocations for education and healthcare would provide a strong foundation for future generations, while infrastructure expansion would create new employment opportunities in tribal areas. He also emphasized that the extension and strengthening of social security schemes would directly benefit poor and vulnerable populations, fostering a more equitable growth model.

The outreach program was attended by Dhananjay Das, president of BJP Krishnapur Mandal, Watharai Molsum, general secretary, along with several other local leaders, party workers, and supporters. Participants actively engaged in discussions on the Budget’s potential impact at the grassroots level.

Debbarma’s address was met with enthusiasm from attendees, who expressed optimism that the Union Budget’s targeted initiatives would empower tribal communities, improve livelihoods, and accelerate development in remote and underserved areas. The session underscored the party’s commitment to ensuring that government policies translate into tangible benefits for all sections of society, particularly the tribal population.

The program concluded on a note of resolve to leverage the Budget’s provisions to strengthen grassroots development and foster inclusive growth across the region.
