Agartala, March 5: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked the completion of three years in office following its second consecutive electoral victory in Tripura, observing the milestone with outreach programmes and celebratory events across the state.

In Chandipur constituency, Minister Tinku Roy began the day by distributing mosquito nets among tea workers at the Manu Valley Tea Estate. Interacting closely with the workers, he listened to their concerns, expectations, and day-to-day challenges.

Highlighting their contribution, Roy described tea labourers as the “true strength of our advancement” and the backbone of the state’s socio-economic foundation. “It is through their relentless efforts that new horizons of possibility are created. Ensuring their health, safety, and a dignified life is our pledge. Our efforts for their welfare and development will continue in the days ahead,” he said.

The outreach initiative formed part of the party’s broader efforts to connect directly with communities while showcasing governance achievements over the past three years.

Meanwhile, the Chandipur Mandal unit of the BJP organised a bike rally to commemorate the third anniversary of the party forming the government for a second straight term. Party workers and supporters participated enthusiastically, displaying flags and raising slogans as they rode through key areas of the constituency.

The combination of welfare-driven activities and public celebrations reflected the BJP’s attempt to highlight both developmental initiatives and its grassroots organisational strength. As the government steps into the fourth year of its current term, party leaders said the focus will remain on strengthening public welfare schemes, infrastructure development, and sustained engagement with citizens across Tripura.
