Agartala: Feb 05: Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Northeast region is experiencing rapid development, and Tripura has taken another significant step toward building a developed state and nation. On this occasion, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah virtually attended the appointment letter distribution ceremony for 2,806 nominated candidates in various departments of the Tripura government, marking a key milestone in the state’s progress.

Amit Shah highlighted that today marks a turning point for Tripura. In the past, during the CPIM regime, the unemployed had to join the party cadre to secure jobs, but under the leadership of Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, the Tripura BJP government has ensured transparency and fairness in the job allocation process. The 2,806 candidates are being given government jobs based on merit and transparency, symbolizing a fresh start in their lives. Amit Shah congratulated the new appointees and expressed that this move is an essential step in creating a developed Tripura and a developed India.

Shah further praised the progress made in the Northeast under the BJP government, noting that in the past decade, Union ministers have visited Tripura more than 700 times. He reflected on how the region, once associated with extremism, infiltration, drugs, and corruption, is now advancing rapidly, gaining recognition on the global stage.

The event saw the distribution of appointment letters to the 2,806 candidates selected for various posts, including Pharmacists (Allopathy, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda), Lab Technicians in the Health Department, and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) in various state government departments, through the JRBT. Along with Shah, Chief Minister Manik Saha and other key state ministers were also present at the ceremony.
