Agartala: Nov 07: On the occasion of Flag Day and Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides, a special event took place at Raj Bhavan, Agartala, where distinguished officials and cadets of the Bharat Scouts and Guides paid a courtesy visit to Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu. Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, Secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports, and S.B. Nath, Director of Youth Affairs & Sports, were present at the event, alongside members of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, who were actively involved in the ceremonial proceedings.

During the visit, the cadets performed a symbolic gesture by tying the Woggle and pinning the flag on Governor Nallu, in line with the traditions of the Bharat Scouts and Guides. The ceremony, which took place in the morning, was a tribute to the spirit of scouting and guiding, emphasizing values of service, discipline, and unity among the youth of India.

Governor Nallu acknowledged the important role played by Bharat Scouts and Guides in shaping the future of young people across the nation, particularly in fostering leadership qualities and a sense of responsibility. The event was also an opportunity to highlight the contributions of the organization in promoting social causes and community development.

The Flag Day and Foundation Day celebrations hold significant importance for the Bharat Scouts and Guides, marking the establishment of the movement and its enduring impact on youth empowerment. The visit to the Raj Bhavan was a reflection of the continued support for scouting and guiding activities in Tripura, as well as a recognition of the commitment of young cadets and their mentors to the ideals of the movement.

The ceremony at Raj Bhavan concluded with words of encouragement from the Governor, urging the youth to stay committed to the values of discipline, service, and dedication.
