Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu convened a comprehensive review meeting of the Gomati Zone of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) at the Panchayati Raj Training Institute (PRTI) in Udaipur on Saturday afternoon. The session aimed at assessing ongoing developmental initiatives, administrative functioning, and welfare programmes being implemented in the region.

Senior officials from the TTAADC administration, representatives of various line departments, and local officers of the Gomati Zone attended the meeting. The Governor closely reviewed progress in key sectors including rural development, healthcare, education, infrastructure, drinking water supply, and livelihood support schemes. He emphasized that timely execution of government programmes is essential for ensuring inclusive development in tribal-dominated areas.

During the deliberations, officials presented detailed reports on the status of roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and agricultural support mechanisms within the zone. The Governor stressed the importance of strengthening basic infrastructure, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring transparency in all administrative processes. He highlighted that welfare schemes must reach the intended beneficiaries without delay.

Governor Reddy also underscored the need for improved coordination between district administration and TTAADC authorities to accelerate development initiatives. He encouraged departments to adopt innovative practices and community-oriented approaches to address local needs effectively. Special focus was laid on improving educational resources in remote areas and boosting healthcare outreach through regular camps and awareness drives.

He reiterated the government’s commitment to uplifting tribal communities by prioritizing sustainable development, employment opportunities, and social welfare programmes. The Governor urged officials to remain proactive, responsive, and accountable in fulfilling their responsibilities.

The review meeting concluded with directives issued to concerned departments for expediting pending projects and enhancing monitoring mechanisms. Governor Reddy expressed confidence that collaborative efforts would significantly contribute to the overall growth and welfare of the Gomati Zone under the TTAADC.
