Agartala, Oct 21: Police Memorial Day was solemnly observed at the Manoranjan Debbarma Stadium in AD Nagar Police Lines on Monday. The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Chief Secretary of the Tripura Government, J.K. Sinha, Director General of Police (DGP) Amitabh Ranjan, and Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order), Anurag. Other senior police officers and officials were also present at the event.

The ceremony paid tribute to the brave police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Speaking at the event, the DGP praised the unwavering dedication and sacrifice of police personnel, highlighting their crucial role in maintaining law and order across the country. He emphasized that these sacrifices are a powerful symbol of the strength and commitment of the Indian police force.

Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha also commended the efforts of the police, noting that their dedication is instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of the nation. He called upon the force to continue their exemplary service, even in the face of challenges.
