Agartala, June 10:
Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s contributions to the nation will be remembered for generations and written in “golden letters” in the pages of Indian history.

Speaking at a gathering of intellectuals at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhawan to mark the 11th anniversary of the Modi government, Dr. Saha praised the Prime Minister’s transformative leadership. He highlighted how India, once counted among the ‘Fragile Five’ economies, is now the world’s fourth-largest economy under Modi’s stewardship.

“Before becoming Prime Minister, Modi ji transformed Gujarat from a drought-hit region into a model state. His commitment to public service was evident when he bowed before entering Parliament in 2014. We have never seen a Prime Minister like him in our history,” Saha said.

He pointed out that during global summits like the G20, world leaders displayed immense respect for PM Modi, showcasing India’s rising stature on the international stage.

Dr. Saha credited Modi’s vision for driving the nation forward through the principles of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas. “From border security to technology and economic reforms, every sector is seeing unprecedented development,” he noted.

Calling the current administration a “responsive government,” Dr. Saha said, “We have learned to work positively for the people by following PM Modi’s example. Unlike the pre-2014 era marked by corruption and nepotism, today the focus is on development and inclusivity.”

He added that the Prime Minister’s legacy will be a subject of research in the future, as his impact spans every facet of governance.

The event was also attended by cabinet ministers, state BJP leaders, and Rajya Sabha MP and party president Rajib Bhattacharjee.
