Agartala: Oct 29: The government has recently announced a significant allocation of funds aimed at promoting Ayurvedic medicines, reflecting a growing recognition of traditional healthcare practices alongside modern medicine. This initiative seeks to enhance the availability and accessibility of Ayurvedic treatments, which are known for their holistic approach to health and well-being.

In an exciting development, plans are underway to establish an Ayurvedic college in collaboration with the Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Foundation. This institution will not only provide education and training for future practitioners but also serve as a center for research and innovation in Ayurvedic medicine. By fostering a new generation of qualified professionals, the college aims to elevate the standards of Ayurvedic practice and integrate it more seamlessly into the broader healthcare landscape.

Furthermore, the government is emphasizing the creation of a health hub and a super specialty hospital that will cater to both modern and traditional medical practices. This integrated facility will provide patients with a comprehensive range of treatment options, allowing them to benefit from the strengths of both systems.

The Chief Minister’s vision for a holistic healthcare system is to create a balanced approach that respects and incorporates the wisdom of traditional medicine while leveraging advancements in modern healthcare. This vision reflects a commitment to improving health outcomes for all citizens and ensuring that diverse medical practices coexist harmoniously.
