Agartala: Sept 27: In observance of Swachh Bharat Diwas on October 2nd, a tribute to the Father of the Nation, the Government of India has launched the “Swachhata Hi Sewa” (SHS) campaign. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Mission, with the SHS 2024 campaign running from September 14th to October 1st under the theme “Swabhav Swachhata – Sanskaar Swachhata.” The campaign aims to promote large-scale advocacy and citizen participation in cleanliness initiatives.
As part of this initiative, officials from the Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) Head Office participated in a Walkathon on September 27, 2024, at 7:00 AM. The event was led by TGB Chairman Mr. Satyendra Singh, along with General Managers Mr. Santosh Kumar Rawat and Mr. Anup Kumar Saha. They expressed their commitment to the cleanliness drive across the state by adopting various awareness programs on Swachhata. Other officials from the Head Office also took part in the Walkathon, demonstrating their dedication to the cause.
