Agartala: Feb 14: The Year-End Prize Giving Ceremony for both the Morning and Noon shifts of Bhavans Tripura Vidyamandir was held with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Friday, celebrating the outstanding achievements of students in various Inter-House Co-curricular activities. The event recognized the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the students who excelled in different fields throughout the academic year.
The ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including Debashis Chakraborty, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra (IFS Retd.), and Principal Swapna Shome, who joined other dignitaries in acknowledging the students’ accomplishments. During their speeches, the guests emphasized the importance of holistic education and the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who excel not only academically but also in character and values.
The event began with the watering of a plant, followed by a floral tribute to the portrait of Kulapati K. M. Munshi, the founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The formal welcome of the guests set the tone for the proceedings. Afterward, the achievers were honored with prizes in recognition of their exceptional performances in various activities.
Three special awards were also presented to students who demonstrated excellence in character and behavior. These included the “Subhramania Award” for Character Excellence, the “Pranlal Dev Karan Kanji Award” for Excellence in Harmonious Behavior, and the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan & Lala Arjun Das Seth Charitable Trust Merit-cum-Means Scholarship.
