Agartala: Feb 22: Youth Tripura Fedaration President Shri Suraj Debbarma, accompanied by YTF West District President Shri Jiten Debbarma, YTF Khowai District President Shri Prasmit Debbarma, YTF Sepahijala District President Shri Babulu Debbarma, YTF West District Secretary Shri Isak Debbarma, and other YTF members, have filed an FIR at the West Police Station in Agartala. The complaint targets a YouTuber and others who allegedly encouraged them to shoot videos and take photos inside the Ujjayanta Palace Museum, a site where such activities are strictly prohibited.
The group strongly condemned the violation of museum rules, stressing the importance of adhering to the guidelines set for historical and cultural sites. The YTF leaders have called for strict action against the YouTuber and anyone involved in facilitating this breach of protocol, as it undermines the sanctity of the museum and disregards established regulations.
The submission of the FIR highlights the growing concern among local youth organizations about the need to protect cultural heritage sites from misuse and ensure that public spaces remain respected by all.
