The Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee on Thursday organises a Press conference at the district Congress Bhavan in Dharmanagar, where national party observer K. Tilottama unveiled a comprehensive roadmap for the organizational campaign titled “Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.”
Addressing party leaders, workers, and media representatives, Tilottama emphasized that the abhiyanis focused on revitalizing the party structure from the grassroots level. She highlighted that strengthening booth-level organization would be the core priority, with special attention on expanding worker networks, enrolling new members, and increasing the visibility of party activities in local areas. According to her, a strong organization forms the foundation of future political success.
Tilottama further stated that the campaign is not limited to internal restructuring but will also actively raise public issues. She noted that the party aims to organize mass movements and Jan- samparkh programme to bring people’s concerns—such as livelihood challenges, price rise, and local development issues—into the mainstream political discourse. This, she added, would help reconnect the party with the general publicand reinforce its role as a strong opposition.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmanagar District Congress president Digbijoy Chakraborty said the initiative is designed to reinvigorate the party’s presence across every block and booth in the district. He announced that a series of structured programs, including membership drives, training sessions, and grassroots meetings, will soon be rolled out in a phased manner to ensure sustained engagement.
Chakraborty expressed confidence that the abhiyanwill energize party workers and create a more cohesive and active organizational network. He also called upon all party members to actively participate and contribute to strengthening the Congress at every level.
The press conference witnessed the presence of several district leaders, grassroots workers, and supporters, who welcomed the initiative with enthusiasm. Many described it as a timely step toward making the Congress organization more dynamic, responsive, and people-centric in the days ahead.
