Mumbai, July 13: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty kicked off the week by sharing an inspiring message on gratitude, describing it as the “bedrock” of her life. Emphasising the importance of starting every Monday with a positive mindset, the actress said the beginning of the week offers an opportunity to reset not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.
Taking to social media, Shilpa shared a video featuring practicing monk Nityanand Charan Das from the Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple at ISKCON Chowpatty, Mumbai. In the video, the spiritual speaker highlights the transformative power of gratitude and explains how cultivating appreciation can bring greater happiness and fulfilment.
Sharing the clip, Shilpa wrote, “Gratitude has always been the bedrock of my life. I truly believe Mondays are a beautiful opportunity to reset, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.”
She further reflected on the discourse, saying, “Listening to Nityanand Charan Das Ji speak about the power of gratitude was a gentle reminder that when we choose appreciation over comparison, life begins to feel lighter, fuller, and far more meaningful. Sharing a small excerpt from that discourse, with the hope that it inspires you to begin this week with a grateful heart. Because what we focus on, grows. #MondayMotivation.”
On the professional front, Shilpa was last seen in the Kannada-language action thriller KD: The Devil, directed by Prem. The film features an ensemble cast including Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta and Nora Fatehi. The film’s music has been composed by Arjun Janya, while William David handled cinematography and Sanketh Achar served as editor.
Apart from films, Shilpa is currently hosting the reality cooking show Maa Hai Na, where celebrity contestants team up with either a parent or an adult child to compete in cooking challenges blended with light-hearted comedy segments.
Earlier this month, on July 8, the actress delighted fans by sharing glimpses of a memorable all-girls family vacation. The trip brought together three generations of women from her family—her mother, sister Shamita Shetty, daughter Samisha, and Shilpa herself. Sharing photos and videos from the holiday, she captioned the post, “Three generations. Four hearts. One unforgettable girls’ trip… The best kind of holiday… core memories unlocked.”
