Agartala: Mar 12: The budget session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly is set to begin on March 21 and will run for seven days, concluding on April 1. This decision was made unanimously in a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) held today, as announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath. The extended duration of the session marks a significant shift from previous years. Notably, no budget session in the past 15 years under the previous government had lasted for seven days, making this a historic move under the BJP-led administration.

On the first day of the session, additional expenditure allocations will be presented, followed by Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy delivering the full budget.
