Agartala, June 26 — Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir (BTVM) hosted a grand felicitation ceremony on June 26, 2025, at the school auditorium to honour the meritorious students of AISSE (Class X) and AISSCE (Class XII) board examinations. The event celebrated academic excellence and recognized the top performers with prestigious awards.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Ratan Saha, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Techno India University, Agartala, who attended as the Chief Guest. Sri Tapan Lodh, Vice Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra, was present as the Guest of Honour.

Special invitees included Sri Biplab Debnath, Pradhan of Narsingarh Gram Panchayat, Sri Rajat Dey, Principal of BTCTE, and Smt. Ram Chakraborty, Member of the Managing Committee, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, whose presence added dignity to the occasion.

The function was presided over by Sri Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS officer and Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra.

Among the major highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of the Professor Kashinath Memorial Awards.

  • Debasmita Saha, the Class X topper, received a cash prize of ₹3,000.
  • Isha Das, the Class XII topper, was awarded ₹15,000, along with the Bhavan’s Merit Award, carrying an additional ₹11,500 for her exceptional academic performance.
  • Pranjali Dam, the Chemistry topper from Class XII, also received a ₹15,000 cash award.

A total of 37 students from Classes X and XII were felicitated during the event for their outstanding achievements.

In his address, Prof. Dr. Ratan Saha congratulated the awardees and commended the school’s consistent commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
