Agartala: Jan 18: The Little Bhavanites’ Sports Spectra-2025 for the Pre-Primary section was held successfully at Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, Narsingarh. The event was graced by Mr. Saraju Chakraborty, President of the Tripura Sports Journalist Club and Sports Editor, who attended as the Chief Guest. The Special Guest for the occasion was Miss Ambesha Das, a renowned cricketer from the state and an ex-Bhavanite. The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting and installation of the sacred torch by Miss Ambesha Das.

The School Flag was hoisted by Mr. Saraju Chakraborty, while the Sports Flag was raised by Mr. Debashis Chakraborty, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra. Mrs. Swapna Shome, Principal of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir, welcomed everyone in her speech and highlighted the school’s activities. Along with other dignitaries, she and Head Mistress Mrs. Pompi Majumdar released balloons and pigeons, accompanied by the little ones.

The event was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as children participated in various fun and educational games. The program also included a colorful cultural performance. Parents actively joined their children, adding a special dimension to the day. To recognize the efforts of the participants, medals were awarded to the top three winners of each event, and certificates were distributed to all participants to encourage them.

This sports event not only promoted physical fitness but also fostered teamwork and cooperation among the children. It proved to be a successful occasion, thanks to the support from the teachers and parents.
