New Delhi, July 31:
Lok Sabha MP from West Tripura and former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb expressed deep gratitude and pride after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday.
What made the meeting even more special, Deb said, was that his mother Mina Rani Deb accompanied him during this visit to the Prime Minister. The moment, he added, was personally significant and emotionally uplifting.
Sharing the experience on social media, Deb described the interaction as one of the most “memorable and proud moments” of his life. “Today was a very proud and unforgettable moment for me. I had the privilege of meeting our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji along with my respected mother,” he wrote.
Deb praised Prime Minister Modi for his simplicity, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the nation. “Every time I meet PM Modi ji, I am deeply inspired by his humility, visionary thinking, and dedication to the country. Meeting him fills me with inner strength and renewed energy,” he said.
The West Tripura MP also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warmth and familial spirit extended by the Prime Minister during their interaction. “I sincerely express my gratitude for the affectionate, family-like connection that the Hon’ble Prime Minister extends,” Deb said, adding that such gestures of personal care reflect the PM’s human touch beyond politics.
Party sources said the meeting underscored Deb’s close rapport with the Prime Minister and his continued commitment to advancing Tripura’s interests at the national level. The occasion also carried a personal significance for Deb, as it was among the rare instances when he met the PM accompanied by a family member.
