Agartala: April 11: Riayanka Debbarma, a female pharmacy science student and resident of Lal Bahadur area in Agartala, was admitted to GB Pant Hospital in critical condition after sustaining deep cut injuries on her throat and hands. According to reports, her family members discovered her injured and immediately rushed her to the hospital for medical attention.
An on-duty doctor at GB Pant Hospital stated, “The patient was admitted with deep cut injuries. Later, it was found that the injuries were self-inflicted. We have extended medical care, and due to timely arrival at the hospital, she is now out of danger.”
The timely response of the family and the medical team ensured her condition stabilized. Authorities have not released further details about the incident.
