Agartala, June 19: Major General SS Kartikeya, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 57 Mountain Division, paid a courtesy visit to Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu at the Raj Bhavan in Agartala on Thursday morning.
During the meeting, Major General Kartikeya and the Governor discussed matters of mutual interest, including the overall security situation, civil-military cooperation, and the ongoing developmental initiatives in the border and interior regions of the state. The interaction also highlighted the Indian Army’s continued efforts in supporting civil administration during emergencies and promoting community engagement in remote areas.
The Governor appreciated the contributions of the Indian Army, especially the 57 Mountain Division, for maintaining peace and security in the region.
