Agartala, July 31: Tripura Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu inaugurated the Raj Bhavan Portal, a set of E-Books, and the “Jan-Jan Ka Rakhe Dhyaan – TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” program under the National Health Mission at a special function held this morning at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Agartala.
The launch event aimed to strengthen digital initiatives at the Raj Bhavan and promote public health awareness in line with the Government of India’s vision for a TB-free nation. The newly introduced Raj Bhavan Portal will provide easy access to important updates, events, and information related to the Governor’s office and activities, ensuring greater transparency and outreach.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Nallu highlighted the importance of adopting digital platforms for better governance and public engagement. He emphasized that initiatives like these align with the vision of a Digital India, making governance more accessible to citizens.
The “Jan-Jan Ka Rakhe Dhyaan – TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” program was another significant highlight of the event. The Governor stressed the urgent need for public awareness and community participation to eliminate tuberculosis by 2025, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He urged citizens, healthcare workers, and civil society to join hands to achieve the goal of a TB-free Tripura and a healthier India.
Senior officials of the National Health Mission, dignitaries from the state health department, and officers from the Raj Bhavan were present at the ceremony. The program concluded with a pledge to work collectively toward advancing both digital governance and public health initiatives in the state.
