Agartala: Mar 16: MLA Birjit Sinha has once again raised serious communal allegations against Minister Sudhanshu Das. During a media interaction on Sunday, Sinha accused the minister of attempting to inflame communal tensions in the state. He specifically pointed to a recent social media post by Sudhanshu Das about the Mughal Empire, which Sinha claimed exacerbated the current situation. According to Sinha, this post was a deliberate attempt to stir up discord and create divisions based on religion.

Sinha further emphasized that this was not the first time Sudhanshu Das had raised such controversial issues. The MLA alleged that the minister had previously sought to provoke tensions by bringing up matters related to the Hindu-Muslim divide in the state. This repeated pattern of behavior, according to Sinha, is deeply concerning, especially considering the minister’s position of responsibility.

“Such behavior from a responsible minister is highly worrying. He should not have made such a post in any circumstances,” Sinha stated, expressing his frustration over the incident. He stressed that this was not just a matter of political disagreement but one that directly affects the democratic fabric of the state. According to Sinha, actions like these undermine the harmony and unity of the community, which is essential for a functioning democracy.

In light of these allegations, MLA Birjit Sinha has called on the state government to take swift and decisive action against Sudhanshu Das for his inflammatory post. Sinha believes that addressing such behavior is crucial to maintaining peace and upholding the democratic values of the state. His demand underscores the growing concern over the role of politicians in promoting divisive rhetoric that can threaten communal harmony.
