New Delhi, Nov 5: BJP national president JP Nadda on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of spreading “manufactured narratives” and preparing excuses ahead of an “inevitable defeat” of the opposition Mahagathbandhan in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections.

In a sharp video statement released hours after Rahul Gandhi’s press conference alleging “25 lakh fake voters” in the Haryana Assembly polls, Nadda said Gandhi had already “accepted defeat in Bihar” and was attempting to divert public attention from the real issues.

“Elections are being held in Bihar, but Rahul Gandhi is sitting in Delhi doing a fake press conference. He knows the Mahagathbandhan is losing, so he is searching for excuses in advance,” Nadda said.

He further alleged that Gandhi was once known for blaming EVMs and now questions the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process to “mislead voters.” Nadda reminded that both the Supreme Court and the Election Commission have given a clean chit to EVMs, and challenged Gandhi to provide proof of electoral manipulation if he had any.

“If he truly has evidence, why doesn’t he move the court? His only aim is to defame India and mislead the youth,” Nadda charged.

Contrasting Gandhi’s “drama and photo-ops” with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s developmental politics, the BJP chief said elections are won “through people’s trust and hard work on the ground.” He highlighted Modi’s record of lifting “25 crore people out of poverty in 11 years” and India’s rise from the 11th to the 4th largest economy globally.

Nadda added that even Mahagathbandhan candidates were reportedly “hesitant to invite Rahul Gandhi for rallies,” claiming the opposition alliance faces a certain defeat in Bihar.
