Agartala: Nov 16: Patients and families have been expressing concerns about the services at Gomati District Hospital in Udaipur, Tepania, for quite some time. To address these issues, a delegation led by Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy visited the hospital on Saturday to assess the situation. After touring the wards and gathering information, Minister Roy acknowledged the long-standing complaints and assured immediate action to address them.

The hospital serves patients from various regions, including Sepahijala, Gandachhara, and Gomati, but infrastructure and service gaps cause significant difficulties. Some wards are in poor condition, exacerbating the challenges. Minister Roy emphasized that the state government is working to improve all district hospitals in Tripura, aiming to reduce pressure on Agartala GB Hospital.

Infrastructure Upgrade: Improve hospital infrastructure to address service gaps.  Service Enhancement: Enhance quality of services to reduce pressure on Agartala GB Hospital. Better Patient Experience: Ensure patients and families receive better services in the near future.

The delegation also inspected the Tripura Sundari Sub-Divisional Hospital for further evaluation. For more information on Gomati District Hospital and its services, you can visit the official website of the Government of Tripura
