In a touching gesture of compassion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sanctioned ₹3 lakh from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to support Maynabala Nath, a cancer patient from Radhamadhabpur in the Kanchanpur Assembly Constituency of North Tripura District.

Maynabala Nath, who has been battling cancer for an extended period, belongs to an economically challenged family that struggled to afford the high cost of treatment. Her case gained attention when Rajya Sabha MP and State BJP President Rajib Bhattacharjee intervened and facilitated her application for financial assistance through the PMNRF.

The swift approval of the aid by the Prime Minister has brought a wave of relief and gratitude to the family. The assistance not only helps cover medical expenses but also stands as a testament to the government’s commitment to supporting vulnerable citizens.

Sharing the development on social media, MP Rajib Bhattacharjee expressed heartfelt appreciation: “This donation is not just financial assistance—it is a symbol of hope, dignity, and humanity for a helpless family.” He added, “On behalf of the people of Tripura, I express my heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, the protector of the people and the guardian of all of us.”

The act has received widespread praise across Tripura, showcasing the human-centric approach of national leadership in addressing citizens’ urgent needs. It also highlights the importance of government mechanisms like the PMNRF in delivering timely assistance to those in distress.

This initiative reaffirms the government’s dedication to standing by citizens during their most difficult times, adding a humane touch to public service and governance.
