Agartala: April 07: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marked its foundation day on April 6, 1980, with a public outreach campaign launched in response to a call from its national leadership. To commemorate the occasion, the state BJP president, Rajib Bhattacharya, kicked off the campaign on Monday in the Rishi Colony area of Pratapgarh, the capital. This initiative is aimed at connecting with the public and ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the people effectively.
During the launch, Bhattacharjee emphasized that the outreach campaign was in line with instructions from the central leadership of the party. He noted that the campaign would focus on ensuring that the welfare programs implemented by the government are reaching those in need, particularly the most marginalized sections of society. He highlighted the importance of verifying that these initiatives are not just being announced, but are actually making a difference at the grassroots level.
Bhattacharjee also spoke about the recently concluded assembly session, where the government presented a budget that gave special attention to women and youth. He stressed that the government’s primary goal is the overall advancement of the state and improving the lives of its citizens. In this regard, he pointed out that the state government is committed to emulating the leadership style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ensuring efficient governance and focusing on the well-being of the people.
The outreach campaign is expected to take place in various regions of the state, with BJP workers engaging directly with the public to spread awareness about government policies and gather feedback on their impact. The initiative reflects the BJP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its connection with the electorate and ensure that government welfare schemes are reaching their intended beneficiaries.
