Agartala, Oct 31: Tripura is all set to host a grand celebration of music, culture, and tourism with the second edition of the Unity Promo Fest 2025, organized by the Department of Tourism. The month-long extravaganza will witness performances by a galaxy of renowned artists across multiple destinations in the state.

Announcing the festival at the Geetanjali Tourism Guest House, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said the fest will kick off at Narkelkunja on November 8, where Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will be invited to inaugurate the event. The inaugural leg will continue till November 9, featuring Saregamapa fame Albert Kobo Lepcha in a live performance.

The festival will next move to Belonia in South Tripura on November 15–16, where popular Bollywood playback singer Palak Muchhal will enthrall audiences on the concluding night. Udaipur will host the fest on November 19–20, featuring celebrated Assamese singer Papon on November 20.

The musical journey will continue at Jampui Hills on November 29–30, where various artists and leading bands will perform against the scenic backdrop of the hill station. The Neermahal edition will be held on December 4–5, highlighted by a performance from Saregamapa star Debajit Saha on December 5.

The festival will culminate in a grand finale at Swami Vivekananda Maidan, Agartala, on December 12, with iconic Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal headlining the event.

Chowdhury said the objective of the festival is to promote Tripura’s tourism potential, boost local income generation, and highlight the state’s vibrant cultural identity.

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s edition—especially the Shreya Ghoshal concert, which drew thousands—the 2025 edition has been expanded to include Gomati and South Tripura districts, with two-day events at every venue.
