Agartala, Oct 17: Union Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Textiles Pabitra Margherita on Thursday reviewed the implementation of Central government schemes in the Khowai Tripura district and said that the Central government is implmentating multiple projects for the development of the North-East region of the country.
During his visit to the Khowai district of Tripura on Thursday, the Union Minister formally inaugurated the newly constructed home of the West Cghampacherra Anganwadi Center in Tulasikhar Block.
Later, he visited the sites of various developmental works of KhoaKhowaii sub-division and held a review meeting with the officials of various departments regarding the progress of the developmental works.
In this review meeting held in the conference hall of the Khowai District Magistrate’s office, the Union State Minister said that the the budget allocation for the development of North East region has also been increased in the Union Budget. He said that the state government is implementing various projects for public welfare through various departments, he added.
