World Book Day turned into a vibrant celebration of youthful imagination at Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir, where eight students proudly unveiled their own published books in the presence of teachers, writers, and fellow students. The event highlighted the school’s strong commitment to nurturing literary talent and encouraging creative expression among young minds.

Each participating student presented a book that reflected months of dedication, writing, revision, and creative exploration. The occasion went beyond a ceremonial launch, marking a significant milestone as these budding writers stepped into the world of published authorship with confidence and pride.

Principal Swapna Shome, along with several eminent writers from Agartala, graced the event and applauded the students for their remarkable achievement. The guests emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression among children. They noted that encouraging young learners to write and publish not only builds confidence but also allows them to contribute meaningfully to society’s cultural and intellectual landscape.

The eight books released during the event included Neel Akasher Daak by Rashmita Dutta, Norom Alor Sokal by Ritam Saha, Kathara Seemahin by Shreyas Das, Swapner Uraan by Abhinav Roy, Jibonayan by Anurag Bardhan, Abyakta Katha by Ayush Saha, Jonaki O Jadu by Debajit Shil, and Golpe Bhora, Dinguli by Malini Bhattacharjee. All the titles were published by Nirbaan Books, Kolkata, providing the students with a professional platform to showcase their literary work.

The school also highlighted its ongoing efforts to promote a vibrant literary culture. Students are regularly encouraged to contribute articles to newspapers, participate in debates and book reviews, and express their ideas through various writing platforms. Their works are also compiled annually in the school’s publication, Chintan, further motivating them to pursue creative excellence.

The program was widely appreciated as a significant step toward fostering creative confidence and intellectual growth among young learners, reinforcing the belief that literature can inspire thought, shape perspectives, and drive positive change in society.
