Agartala: Mar 02: The Shishu Sangam 2025 program was a momentous occasion, marking the 100th year of the Shishu Sangam initiative in India. Held at the Sadhak Ratan Mani Seva Sadan School in Kanchanpur, the event was a testament to the power of community involvement in shaping a better future for children.
The program began with a vibrant rally procession of children, starting at 6 am from Anandabazar and culminating at the school around noon. The Hon’ble Governor of Tripura, Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, graced the occasion as the chief guest, accompanied by several dignitaries.
A special moment during the ceremony was when the jawans of the 13th TSR Battalion gave a state salute to the Hon’ble Governor. The event also saw the launch of a new ambulance for the students, procured by the school authorities to enhance student welfare and safety.
The Shishu Sangam initiative has been instrumental in promoting education, child welfare, and community involvement. As the program celebrates its 100th year, it’s clear that its impact will be felt for generations to come.
