Bengaluru:April 24: In a solemn and emotional ceremony, BJP State President B.Y. Vijayendra paid his last respects to Bharat Bhushan, a resident of Karnataka who tragically lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack, which claimed several innocent lives, has sent shockwaves across the nation and left families mourning the loss of their loved ones.
Vijayendra, along with several senior leaders, gathered to offer condolences and support to the bereaved family. Among those present were Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, Member of Parliament P.C. Mohan, and Rajarajeshwari Nagar MLA Munirathna, along with other prominent dignitaries and party workers.
Speaking to the media, Vijayendra condemned the brutal act of terrorism and called for strong action to ensure such tragedies are not repeated. He assured the grieving family that the state and central governments stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
“The loss of Bharat Bhushan is not just a loss for his family, but for all of us,” he said. “He was an innocent civilian, a citizen who had gone to experience the beauty of our country. This senseless violence must end.”
