Agartala, September 23: Leaders and workers of the BJP, Tipra Motha and IPFT held a joint campaign meeting at Chandranath Thakurpara Anganwadi Centre under Radhacharan Village Committee in the Kalyanpur–Pramodnagar constituency on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming Village Committee elections in Tripura.
The meeting was organised in support of the alliance’s nominated candidate and was attended by local residents, MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury, Mandal president Nitai Bal and workers of the three alliance partners.
Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted local development issues and called for continued efforts to improve infrastructure and welfare-related initiatives in the area.
They also stressed the need for cooperation between local communities and elected representatives in implementing development programmes and addressing issues faced by residents.
The leaders said the alliance would focus on development, peace and social harmony in the area, while urging voters to support its candidate in the forthcoming Village Committee polls.
The meeting also brought together local-level functionaries and supporters of the BJP, Tipra Motha and IPFT as part of their joint campaign activities ahead of polling.
The Village Committee elections are scheduled to be held on September 28, with campaigning continuing across constituencies ahead of the vote.
